😞~You’re Still Bored Aren’t You?~🥱😑

Hello, person reading this! So, it’s summertime, & a lot of us are STILL in quarantine/lockdown, so I’m back with yet another list of things to do when you’re bored! Let’s get started.

  1. Learn a new language~ this could be a fun way to engage your brain by learning about the ways others could communicate. I’m currently learning sign language! Pace yourself if you do this, though, learning a new language can be difficult, but you can do it!

2. Weekly challenges~ this is something my family & I are doing right now. My sister & I are on the last couple of days of no sugary foods/drinks. Next week, my dad & I are going to go vegetarian for a week. After that week, my sister & I are going to do a SUPER intense workout everyday for a week. Other challenges you could do could be that you only drink water for a week, no dairy for a week,  be asleep by 8:30 pm everyday for a week, wake up at 5 am everyday for a week, etc. The purpose of these challenges are to experience how others might be living their day-to-day lives. You might even find a new way you want to live your own life!

3. Buy a skateboard~  Learn to ride said skateboard.  For those of you who already have one but never used it… you know what to do.

4. Send something to your friends~ Write a letter asking them how they’re doing. Attach a little picture or token to the letter. Print out a meme or two. I’m sure it’ll brighten their day!

5. Call everyone in your contact list & see who picks up

6. Clean out your phone storage~ delete any photos or videos you don’t need/want, delete any apps you don’t use anymore, unfollow people you’re not interested in anymore, unsubscribe from emailing lists you’re not interested in anymore. Trust me, you’ll feel much better when you do.

7. Start audio journaling~ you can do this at morning, at night, or both. You can talk about anything. Talk about what happened that day or what you’re planning to do that day. Talk about how you’re feeling. Think of it as a personal podcast. This is great if you’re too busy (or lazy, let’s be honest) to grab a pen & paper every morning or every night and write about your day. All you have to do is open your voice notes app, & start talking.

8. Disney+ is a great pastime~ I’ve been re-watching all of the old Disney Channel shows I used to love when I was in elementary & middle school! It brings back lots of memories.

9. Redo some childhood paintings~ this is fun because you don’t need a new canvas. You’re kind of recycling one. I did this with a painting of a beach I did in middle school. It wasn’t that bad, but I could’ve done better. I kept some of the painting untouched, so it was almost like a collaborative painting between my current self & past self. In a way, it’s symbolic. ~Using your past mistakes as inspiration to do better in the present~ haha

10. Take a nap~ honestly, a short nap (I’m talking like an hour) is sometimes all you need to freshen your mind. Plus, it burns some time so that when you wake up again, hopefully you will think of something.

Aaannnd that concludes part two of things to do when you’re bored. Hopefully you find something fun to do on this list. Again, wash your hands, WEAR A MASK, STAY SIX FEET APART, AND STAY THE HECK HOME IF YOU ARE SICK!!! Thanks for reading! 🤗❤️
